MISREPRESENTATION
Solar sales misrepresentation review
"Your electric bill will be zero." "The tax credit pays for it." "It's basically free." If what you were told doesn't match what you signed, that gap matters. We help you document it.
Who this is for
Homeowners who believe the salesperson misstated savings, costs, tax credits, ownership, or terms; who were rushed through a tablet signing; who never received copies of their documents; or whose signature or initials appear on pages they don't remember seeing.
What we look at
- Sales proposals, savings estimates, text messages, emails, and brochures
- what the contract actually says on each point you were promised
- dates and signature patterns on electronic documents
- whether required disclosures and cancellation notices were provided
- and your recollection, written down while it's fresh
How it works
- Tell us what you were told, as specifically as you can.
- We gather and organize the evidence.
- We compare promises with paperwork, point by point.
- Independent counsel can raise the issues formally and pursue negotiation or arbitration where appropriate.
A good first step
Write down what you remember now: who came to your home, when, what they said, and anything they showed you. Save every text and email. Notes made early are often more useful than memories later.
Every agreement and every situation is different. Results vary, and no one can promise a specific outcome.

Common questions
What documents do I need?
Whatever you have is a good start. Most helpful: your solar agreement (lease, PPA, loan, or purchase contract), any sales proposal or savings estimate, 12 months of utility bills, screenshots from your monitoring app, and any texts or emails with the sales rep or company. Photos of roof damage or equipment problems help too. Don't have everything? Start anyway.
What if I can't find my contract?
That's common, especially with agreements signed on a tablet. You can usually request a copy from the solar company or lender, and many have customer portals where documents are stored. We'll help you figure out where to look and what to ask for.
Is my information kept private?
Yes. We use your information to review your case and communicate with you. We don't sell your personal information, and we don't share your mobile number with third parties for their marketing. Documents you upload are transmitted securely and used only for your case. See our Privacy Policy.
