About SRG

Are you a law firm?

No. Solar Resolution Group is a consumer advocacy and case management company. We are not a law firm, we don't practice law, and we don't give legal advice. We review your documents, organize your case, and keep things moving. When a case calls for a formal demand or arbitration, it's handled by independent, licensed counsel that you choose to retain.

What do you actually do?

We read your solar agreement and related documents, compare them with what you were told and with your real bills and production data, and organize everything into a clear case file. We explain what we found in plain English, manage communication and deadlines, and coordinate with independent, licensed counsel when a formal demand, negotiation, or arbitration makes sense. Throughout, we keep you updated.

How do I know you're legitimate?

Fair question, especially if you've already been burned once. Here's what we can tell you: we're Solar Resolution Group, LLC, with an office at 3133 W Frye Rd, Suite 101, Chandler, AZ 85226. Our case review is free. We explain any cost in writing before you sign anything, and you have three business days after signing to cancel for a full refund. We'll never ask for your Social Security number or bank login to start a review, never pressure you to decide on the spot, and never promise a result. You're welcome to take your time, ask questions, and check us out.

Why did someone from your team contact me?

We reach out to homeowners who may have a solar agreement, because many people don't know help is available. If you'd rather not hear from us, just tell us, or reply STOP to any text, and we'll honor it. If you do want help, the review is free.

Do you work in my state?

Yes. We're based in Arizona and we work with homeowners in all 50 states. We have dedicated pages for Arizona, Texas, Nevada, New York, Colorado, California, and Florida, but the process is the same wherever you live.

Cost

What does it cost?

The case review is free, with no obligation. If you decide to move forward, the cost is a one-time service fee that we disclose in writing in our Client Service Agreement before you sign. You'll know the exact amount and what it covers up front. After you sign, you have three business days to cancel for a full refund. We'll also explain how any fees for independent counsel are handled in your situation.

Can I cancel my agreement with Solar Resolution Group?

Yes. You can cancel without penalty before midnight of the third business day after you sign, and any payment you made will be returned within ten business days of our receiving your notice. Business days include Saturdays but not Sundays or federal holidays. Send written notice by mail to our office or by email to info@solarresolutionusa.com. The full terms are in your Client Service Agreement.

The Process

How long does it take?

It depends on your agreement, the companies involved, and how they respond. Our initial review usually takes several business days once we have your documents. Negotiation after a formal demand often takes a few months. If a case goes to arbitration, it can take several months to a year or more. We'll give you a realistic estimate for your situation and keep you updated.

What documents do I need?

Whatever you have is a good start. Most helpful: your solar agreement (lease, PPA, loan, or purchase contract), any sales proposal or savings estimate, 12 months of utility bills, screenshots from your monitoring app, and any texts or emails with the sales rep or company. Photos of roof damage or equipment problems help too. Don't have everything? Start anyway.

What if I can't find my contract?

That's common, especially with agreements signed on a tablet. You can usually request a copy from the solar company or lender, and many have customer portals where documents are stored. We'll help you figure out where to look and what to ask for.

Do I have to talk to the solar company myself?

You can keep communicating with the company if you want to, but you don't have to handle the dispute alone. Once a formal process begins, communication about the dispute is typically handled through your independent counsel. Please tell us about any contact you receive from the solar company, installer, or lender, and keep copies of everything.

What happens if my case isn't a good fit?

We'll tell you. Not every agreement has a realistic path to change, and we'd rather be honest than take on a case we don't believe in. If we can, we'll point you to other resources, such as your state's consumer protection office or contractor licensing board.

Arbitration

What is arbitration?

Arbitration is a private way to resolve a dispute without a public trial. Each side presents documents and explanations to a neutral arbitrator, who makes a decision that is usually final and binding. Hearings are often held by video or phone, and some cases are decided on documents alone. Most solar leases, PPAs, and loans include an arbitration clause. Learn more about arbitration in solar disputes.

Do I have to go to court?

In most cases, no. Most solar agreements require disputes to go to arbitration, which is private and often handled by video, phone, or written submissions. Many cases resolve through negotiation before arbitration is even needed. If your agreement has different terms, we'll explain what they mean for you.

Who handles my arbitration?

Your case in arbitration is presented by independent, licensed counsel that you choose to retain. Solar Resolution Group supports that counsel by organizing your documents, building your timeline, and keeping you informed. You always decide whether to move forward.

Is arbitration expensive for me?

Under the major arbitration providers' consumer rules, the business usually pays most of the provider's fees, and the consumer's filing fee is typically limited. But every agreement is different, and some include their own fee terms. We'll review your arbitration clause and explain it before anything is filed.

Your Situation

Can you guarantee my contract will be canceled?

No, and you should be cautious of anyone who says they can. Results depend on your agreement, the facts, and how the companies respond. Cancellation is one possible outcome. Others include a reduced buyout, a refund or credit, a corrected payment, or repairs. Some cases don't result in a change at all. We'll be honest with you about what we see.

Should I stop making my solar payments?

No. Please keep making your payments while your case is reviewed. Missing payments can lead to late fees, collections, credit damage, and default, and it can weaken your position. Don't change how you pay unless independent counsel advises you to.

Will this affect my credit?

Asking us for a review doesn't affect your credit. We don't run credit checks. Keeping your payments current is the best way to protect your credit while your case is reviewed. We don't offer credit repair services.

I signed my solar agreement in the last few days. What should I do?

Act quickly. Many in-home sales come with a three-business-day cancellation right under federal rules, and some states give more time for solar agreements or for older buyers. Find the cancellation notice in your paperwork, send written cancellation to the company exactly as it describes, keep proof of when you sent it, and then contact us. Don't wait on us to send your notice; deadlines are strict.

My system was installed but never turned on. Can you help?

Yes. Systems waiting months for utility permission to operate, while payments are due, are a common problem. We'll review your agreement's installation and activation terms and document the timeline.

What happens to the panels if my agreement is canceled?

It depends on the resolution. In some cases the company removes the system and repairs any roof penetrations; in others, the system stays and the terms change. Any resolution should spell this out in writing, and we'll make sure you understand it before you agree.

Can you help if I'm trying to sell my home?

Yes. Solar leases, PPAs, and loans can complicate a sale, especially when a buyer doesn't want to take over the agreement or a lien or UCC filing shows up in the title search. We can review your transfer and payoff terms and help you understand your options before closing. Read: Selling a home with solar panels.

Privacy

Is my information kept private?

Yes. We use your information to review your case and communicate with you. We don't sell your personal information, and we don't share your mobile number with third parties for their marketing. Documents you upload are transmitted securely and used only for your case. See our Privacy Policy.

Will the solar company find out I contacted you?

Not from us, unless you decide to move forward and a formal demand is sent on your behalf. Asking for a review is confidential.
