CANCELLATION SUPPORT
Solar contract cancellation support
Cancellation is the outcome most homeowners ask about first. Sometimes it's possible, sometimes a different resolution makes more sense. We help you find out which, and we support you through whatever comes next.
If you signed recently
You may still be inside a cancellation window. Federal rules give buyers three business days to cancel many in-home sales, and some states provide longer periods for solar agreements or for older buyers. If you signed in the last few days, contact us right away, and also send written cancellation to the company yourself using the notice in your contract. Deadlines are strict.
If you're past the window
Cancellation may still be possible in some situations, for example when required disclosures were never provided, when the system was never activated or doesn't work, when the agreement was misrepresented, or when documents were signed improperly. Each situation is different.
What we look at
- Your signing date and any state-specific cancellation period
- whether you received a cancellation notice
- installation and activation status
- required disclosures
- misrepresentation evidence
- and the cancellation, termination, and buyout clauses in your agreement
How it works
- Free review.
- We identify whether cancellation may be a realistic goal or whether another resolution fits better.
- Independent counsel sends a formal demand when appropriate.
- Negotiation, and arbitration if needed.
Honest expectations
We can't promise cancellation, and no one honestly can. In many cases the best available outcome is a reduced buyout, a corrected payment, a refund, or repairs. We'll tell you what we see.
Every agreement and every situation is different. Results vary, and no one can promise a specific outcome.

Common questions
Can you guarantee my contract will be canceled?
No, and you should be cautious of anyone who says they can. Results depend on your agreement, the facts, and how the companies respond. Cancellation is one possible outcome. Others include a reduced buyout, a refund or credit, a corrected payment, or repairs. Some cases don't result in a change at all. We'll be honest with you about what we see.
How long does it take?
It depends on your agreement, the companies involved, and how they respond. Our initial review usually takes several business days once we have your documents. Negotiation after a formal demand often takes a few months. If a case goes to arbitration, it can take several months to a year or more. We'll give you a realistic estimate for your situation and keep you updated.
What does it cost?
The case review is free, with no obligation. If you decide to move forward, the cost is a one-time service fee that we disclose in writing in our Client Service Agreement before you sign. You'll know the exact amount and what it covers up front. After you sign, you have three business days to cancel for a full refund. We'll also explain how any fees for independent counsel are handled in your situation.
